Dalton Point, Columbia Gorge
May 3, 8:30 AM-3:30 PM

Dalton Point, one exit west of Multnomah Falls, is a popular wayside pull out off I-84 for boaters, fishermen and others desiring easy access to the Columbia River. Two short trails connect the parking lot to the beach.

In March, a TKO work party completed laying fabric and gravel over the 400’ trail west from the parking lot. The trail to the east has a high berm and a section of exposed tree roots. The park service will be doing some tread preparation, knocking down some of the berm and spreading the dirt over the exposed roots. We will be completing the tread preparation, laying fabric and spreading gravel over approximately 200’ of trail.
