Marmot Modeling on the Plains of Abraham: 6-21-14

Post by Sean Thomas » June 24th, 2014, 9:20 pm

After Fridays big adventure I took my gf and some friends up to the east side of St Helens to visit the Plains of Abraham. The weather was perfect and we had an awesome day on the plains. The real highlight of the trip(other than the mountain of course :) ) was a brave Marmot who seemed determined to get in at least a few of the days pictures

Darn fine looking marmot!

While you were busy photographing this one, the rest of the pack was probably circling around behind you for a shot at chewing on your pack straps or, better yet, your snacks! You were lucky to escape! ;)

Great job, Boozeman! Perhaps someone can start a "Sexy Marmot" meme to counter "Epic Marmot".

Seriously, though, thanks for the photos, Sean. In addition to the obvious, I really like the chasm shot for the sense of scale. Jojo is a tiny dot! :)

I saw Sexy Marmot within yards of where that picture was taken! There was a bit more snow then!
