It snowed at Opal Creek when I was there this past weekend. It snowed a bit during the night and melted off by the morning. The trees 300-400 feet up the slopes were covered in snow, though.

I'd post a full trip report of my weekend there but my computer is on the fritz. :(

Went for a stroll to Ramona Falls on Sunday only to find out they've removed the bridge over the river. Sleet/snow the entire time. And boy, did it feel cold! I'm still longing for the warm summer days but they will return soon enough. :)

Me too - I'm stuck at home until (probably) Monday. I'm curious to find out what elevation the snow was at today so I can plan for a (possible) hike on Monday. ;) So, where did you all go hiking today? And did you find snow?

due to the low cloud cover, we did the ruckel ridge loop yesterday. Tanner Butte didn't have any visible snow, but it looked as though there was snow probably a couple hundred feet above

Was on Hamilton this afternoon, and couldn't seen any snow anywhere (other than Hood and Adams). Tanner sure looked bare, from there, yeah.

Was up on The Benson Plateau on Sunday 11/10 and there were trace amounts of snow It was melting away and didn't impede the trail at all.

Encountered snow @3200 ft on Nesmith Point that looks like it was there since last weekend. Not on the trail yet.
