Two Chiefs trail, east end, access to Greenleaf Falls

Post by Chip Down » July 5th, 2022, 9:32 pm

The red road on my map below seems to be missing. Yesterday I verified the roads to north, south, and east (from the east/bottom end of the red route). Went back and looked again.

Crazy thing is, I know I've walked that road/trail, but I don't remember where it dumps into the road network.

[I'd like to note that I got in there creatively, without violating posted property rights.]

That road was there back in 2013 when we were all fording Greenleaf Creek and Peder told Steve to just run down the road instead (??) and then we had to risk getting Deliverance-d in order to extract him.

Chip,

The first section of that road above where it branches off from the road that goes north has long been washed out and completely obliterated. To access the rest of it, you have to walk up the road on the north about 500 feet and at the switchback find an old ATV trail that takes you to a point before the washout.
