A friend sent me this photo of Mt Jefferson .. does anyone here know which hiking trail this photo could be possibly taken from near Mt Jefferson? Thanks in advance!
Can someone please tell me which hike this photo is taken from?

Looks like it was taken from somewhere up on Park Ridge overlooking Jefferson Park. Not only is that area buried under snow for quite awhile longer, but it has been closed in recent years due to wildfire damage. No word yet on whether it will open this season or not, and when it does you'll need to reserve permits on Recreation.gov to hike there.

Also, note that once it does re-open, the closest trailhead to Park Ridge (Breitenbush Lake) is at the end of a horrible road.

Oh, I know ... one of the worst FS "roads" I have ever been on.adamschneider wrote: ↑May 16th, 2022, 8:17 amAlso, note that once it does re-open, the closest trailhead to Park Ridge (Breitenbush Lake) is at the end of a horrible road.

I agree it's park ridge. It is also a bit west of the actual pass (toward the butte) as you can see all of Russell Lake on the left side of the snow-covered Park Meadow below.
