Duncan Creek trail to Apron Falls

Post by Mamaflorence » March 11th, 2022, 7:46 am

The all trails app says dogs are not allowed on this trail. But when I read reviews from hikers they talk about their dogs on the trail. Are they technically not allowed or maybe just not recommended?

There are many places where an unrestrained or over exuberant dog could fall and end up in an unrecoverable spot - or worse. Unrecoverable as in needing climbing ropes and gear to retrieve him/her. Then there's the potential problem of the log bridge at the start of the trail. If the water is high, I don't think most dogs could swim across.
