Dry Creek or Observation Peak trail Trapper Creek

Post by BaileyBoy » January 20th, 2022, 8:37 am

Quick question, has anyone been out to the Dry Creek Trail lately? Wondering how muddy and/or icy it might be? Same for the early parts of Observation Trail where it takes off from the east side of Trapper Creek trail?

Thanks

I'm heading out there this weekend. Rangers in Trout Lake told me that they don't think that there is snow at trailhead level, and I assume there is nothing icy that low, except maybe in sheltered spots in the early morning. Not sure what trail I will take, depends on what conditions I find.

Thanks Dean, I'm thinking this Sunday for Dry Creek and maybe add a couple of miles to walk by heading up Observation Trail for a couple of miles, maybe to the falls up there.
Have a great time out there.
