Nash Lake/Horse Creek Trail Junction - Water, Camping Options

Does anyone have any insights on places to camp and reliable water sources (end of July) in the vicinity of this trail junction? Is the only nearby reliable source of water Nash Lake? I also see a creek crossing the Water Holes trail.
