Rogue River Side Trails?

Post by leiavoia » February 21st, 2020, 12:11 pm

I did the Wild Rogue River Loop hike in 2017 and enjoyed it as an alternative to just sticking to the river itself.

Are there any other backpackable side trips or loops on the Rogue besides this one? I would be interested in exploring the area more. I'm asking because sometimes maps are outdated and new trails are put in and i am not aware of them.

Thanks for the advice!

I did the wild rogue side trail about the same time

and got several ticks : (

there are a number of other side trails but I don't think there are any other loops

you can go to the Whiskey Creek cabin, and then continue up from there on closed roads. There's an active mine. Sort of interesting. You can continue from there and then back to Graves Creek trailhead on roads but that's not real interesting.
