Bug and snow conditions N Burnt Lake to East Zig Zag?

Anyone been up there very recently? Would appreciate any feedback on bugs and possible snow. Thank you!

I can't speak to bugs, but I'm confident from recent experience that there's no snow anywhere below 5000 ft. in Mt. Hood National Forest by now and East Zigzag Mt. tops out under 5000 ft.
