Hey everyone,
I dragged my heels and didn't book a night at Timberline Lodge during this winter so I thought, "How about a summer trip that includes a wildflower hike?" I've never stayed at the lodge during the summer and booking 6 months ahead should mean a nice room is available.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a wildflower hike that leaves from the lodge and is doable in a single day? Paradise Park is the most obvious, but is there anything else? What about dates?
Thanks for any help!

From the lodge, Paradise Park is definitely your best bet. If you're comfortable with off-trail alpine terrain, consider making it a loop by going up around the top of Zigzag Canyon.
As for timing, August is usually the surest bet for flowers in Paradise Park. However, if it continues to be a low snow year, they could peak in July.
