Mt Hood trails....bugs?

I was looking for a "bug report" but couldn't find one. I am hiking on Saturday and was considering McNeil Point or East Zig Zag. Any current bug reports on those areas? Any other trail suggestions? (looking for 7-9 miles) Thank you!

black flies terrible at top spur and lower elevation. didn't deal with them up at mcneil in any appreciably numbers. last sunday.

After being up near Paradise Park Loop trail, I bought 2 bug nets. Glamourous!
