Hoping that someone might recommend some good spots for camping that require a 4x4.
We'd like to be able to drive to a good campsite and have nearby hiking trails as a friend that is going doesn't have backpacking gear. Any recommendations?

Re: Bought a Jeep Rubicon - Where can I go now?
The following campgrounds are almost exclusively 4x4 accessible:
* Bird Creek Meadows
* Keeps Mill
* Bonney Meadows
* Badger Lake
* Frazier Turnaround
* Elk Lake
* Horseshoe Lake
* Breitenbush Lake
Some of those places are big party campgrounds because they are hard to access, but some of them are really nice. I love Bonney Meadows, for example.
