Eagle creek is running high

Post by joerunner » April 27th, 2014, 3:58 pm

Just a heads up. Made it across Eagle creek at the Tanner cutoff yesterday only because I did not want to turn around and head back up Tanner. The water was raging and pretty much unsafe to cross.

Joe - Then I am glad that you made it safely across! Thank you for the warning.

Oooh, glad it worked out. Apparently, this year there is also a log-cross option.

Did you use this log cross option? I was thinking of doing a Tanner-Eagle loop in a few weeks and wondered about the creek crossing at the upper end.

I wish we would have found that log crossing. We didn't look downstream that far.
