Weather Advice - Chance of T-Storms

Post by anne37 » August 3rd, 2013, 9:14 am

The weather for Mount Daniel is not ideal this weekend, but on the other hand it's not that bad. It's the mountains, so T-Storms are to be expected. I don't really want to be hunkered down in my tent at Jade Lake with no views, but then again Monday is looking good, even possibly for climbing to Diptop Gap.

"Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Calm wind becoming north northwest 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Monday: Sunny, with a high near 61. Northwest wind 5 to 9 mph. "

Would you guys reschedule, or is this a pretty average report? I'm fairly experienced but I usually go solo so I can reschedule easily. Not this time :)
