Hiking McNeal Point with a squirell

Post by Tito goes hiking » November 2nd, 2011, 10:39 pm

I went up to McNeal point on Saturday with my little buddy Tito. I was a beautiful day for the hike and I am glad I did it since it is now snowing there now. Tito was in a very festive Halloween mood as he wore his halloween costume on the entire hike. Not very many people hiking but the few that were all enjoyed seeing the dog in squirells clothing.

Nice Mt Hood pictures

So, how many times have you gone up to McNeil this year? We met that other time.

I was up there a second time myself so I can't complain :)

Plus i walked below it on Timberline Trail a third time

Hi Jerry,
This is one of my very favorite hikes and it is close to home but I only went to the shelter twice this year. Sometimes I just go to Topspur TH and hike to Cairn basin or a short loop around bald mountain. I hope Tito and I will bump into you again someday.
take care, lisa

Love that last shot of Tito in the squirrel costume, Lisa -- that is priceless!

Okay, so I suppose the only hazard is if a very large hawk spots him..? Nah, Tito can defend himself..! :D

What our "kids" put up with for us :) Very cute.

McNeil, never made it to the shelter this year, humbug. :(
