The wife and I spent several hours on our trip back towards Falls Creek Horse Camp, cleaning up the trail
Many thanks to you and your wife, Mike, for cleaning up the Gifford Peak Way. It's part of a very worthy loop, and I for one appreciate you putting in the time!

You missed the sign for "Bruce Lake."

We lost the trail tread at Janet Lake, where we encountered two men and a teen-age boy who had read this message thread and also decided to visit the Basin Lakes. They were looking for the trail to head back to their car so we pointed them to the flagging on the tree. From Janet Lake, we wandered in the general direction of the saddle on the ridgeline when I spotted this sign on a tree at one of the unnamed lakes. Beyond "Bruce Lake," we eventually found the Gifford Peak Way tread again and climbed up to the PCT, then continued on the loop through the Racetrack and back to the trailhead.
