I was up there yesterday too! My friend and I probably said "hi" to you somewhere on the trail.

Tom,
Nice job - especially that Triple Falls shot. I wondered if that was a fellow PH person parked in the Horsetail lot as I stopped briefly to take a pic.

Might have been me, Don - I had the second spot from the west end (green Highlander with commie/socialist stickers on the bumper?). Glad you got a shot of Horsetail -- I neglected to when I arrived, and was really hoofing it when I got back to the car!
Hey, littlemockie -- welcome to PH.org! Let's see, I was the burned-out looking old dude with the tripod, hat, beard and one green hiking pole. If you were with somebody else, and had a camera out, then I'm prone to offering to take a "photo of the two of you", a bit forward for some, but most really appreciate it. Did three of those yesterday, plus two polite declines (which is fine -- and I figure it's an illicit fling, of course...)
BTW, I hiked in my Stabilicers. Made all the difference coming back down the hill.

A bit late to the party but nice report as usual Tom. Glad someone made it out to the gorge and got some hiking/picture taking in during the mini deep-freeze. That Triple Falls shot is a winner! along with the rest of 'em.

Hi Tom!
You did take a photo of us! We were the ones with the almost dead camera, but you were able to get a couple of photos out of it. Thanks for doing that!
Going down the hill was a little gnarly for us, but we made it with only one fall (him not me) . I love the photos that you took! They really capture how beautiful it was up there.

Nice waterfall pictures. The Triple Falls pic is reminiscent of one I had taken many a year ago in deep snow.

Hi Lindsay! Good to meet you! Yeah, it's the going down that can be treacherous... just so long as you don't flip over the side of a cliff, it's usually just a bruised butt (and pride), though!
Brian & BigBear, I do plan to head up there when we have more like a foot of snow on the ground -- enough to make "pillows" on the rocks. Love that look!
