Thanks, sounds like another one for my summer roster! I vaguely knew about the Mississippi Head hike but I didn't realize you could go beyond it all the way up to the Hogsback. And thanks for the warning about the drop into Zigzag Canyon - I tend to be overly cautious about weather and usually turn back at the first sign of clouds, but sometimes they come in fast so I do have GPS and map/compass as backup.
