What Chris said - great photos, but I'm gonna need crampons on that one...

Re: Munra Point 23-Dec-2010
Last time I was up on Munra, some other folks had brought a small accessory rope (maybe 30m long, probably 7-8mm diameter - you can get these at outdoor shops and they aren't too expensive) and they looped it around the tree trunk at the top of the gully and then did a body rappel down to the bottom and pulled the rope when they were done. This was in the dry season and it seemed kind of overkill to me (the gully is not difficult to climb when it's dry), but that kind of thing would be perfect for the current conditions.VanMarmot wrote:It's not exposed in the sense that you'd free fall to a really hard landing, but (as Pablo notes), you'd probably get pretty banged around if you just slid down itponyboy84 wrote:how exposed is that gully?

Great you squeezed in a good one - can't believe Munra was OK - some slippery parts but it does really look good. Best work-out for the elevation gained in a short distance in the Gorge. Merry Christmas.
