Re: Trip Report Archive
Dan, can you create a new navigation tab called "Archives" for this?

Hi Tom-
I could do that. One thing I was thinking is that it might be more useful to just link them to/from the proper field guide pages, and then have a smaller link somewhere else to the archives. I know we used to have a prominent link at the top to them, but I think over time they will become less relevant, so a more obscure link may be ok?

Re: Trip Report Archive
Sure - I think the way most people will use it is to dig up their old posts (or somebody else's) that they remember from before the switch. So it will definitely become a relic in time. There are a couple threads that I might move into the Lost Trails area, simply for posterity -- since the point of that discussion area is to track that sort of thing.

Re: Trip Report Archive
Tom, I hope you'll put into the current Lost Trails this one about the Perdition Trail http://www.portlandhikers.org/archive/view/8592
Methinks more of us need to press the USFS about restoring this trail, so we can hike the Multnomah-Wahkeena loop without trying to push through the mobs at Multnomah Falls!

Not able to move it entirely, Mary - but I did create a new post with a link:

Thanks, Martell, for doing this! I like going back to see where I've been.
