It appears like this is a very popular trail, many asking as we returned today. The trail is not very hospitable after the junction with Indian Springs. Windblown trees and maybe a slide or two left trees everywhere and a few very narrow points. The creek was very high, alot of melt forced us to cross about 1/8 mile short. Around 3200 we encountered the first snowpack and it only got worse as we climbed. We made it about 1/2 mile further and canned the loop as I was working with a compass and have never made the trip before. Chinidere was a great reference in helping me decide there was a long way to go without the appropriate gear. Best of luck!
