Old Vista Ridge to Owl Point (Aug 10, 2023)
Return trip to Owl Point after our TKO event last month to install the third (!) volume of the summit log! Two hundred pages and thousands of visitors have signed in at Owl Point since we placed the summit box in 2012. I also replaced the photo album and tidied things up a bit. The ammo box has some rust, but otherwise looking good for having spent 10 winters out there! A few photos...

Blind Luck Meadow - a bit smaller each year as the forest closes in!
From right, the Ladd, Coe and top of the Eliot Glacier from Owl Point. Barrett Spur dead ahead -- the dark pyramid shape below the summit and separating the Coe and Ladd glaciers:
When we were here in July, the cover of the log book was in two pieces -- but a trail angel did a nice duct tape fix! Nonetheless, Volume 2 was worn and almost full, so I retired it and placed Volume 3....
...a few of the last entries in Volume 2 -- wilderness rangers came here! Cool!
