Placid Lake 6-17-23

We did the short hike to Placid Lake on Saturday. Weather was overcast and about 50 degrees. The lake is only about a mile from the trailhead. The road was snow free. The first half of the trail had some snow patches. The last half had up to 3-4' snow drifts and continuous snow. There was no problem walking on top of the snow. There was no snow at the lake. We walked to the lake outlet which was flowing pretty good. There looked to be snow if we were to head up higher. The campsites we passed were clear of snow.
