From the north end? I'm almost positive you would be able to get there now (I doubt there is still snow up there) - the question would be whether or not the last portion of the road is clear to the trailhead (after you cross the river). I hiked the northern section in December of 2019, and the trail was easy enough to follow, but it is rough in places. It is most definitely burned pretty well. The Welcome Lakes trail is in WAY worse condition however. I don't believe it has been cut out since the 2010 fire. If it has, there has been a LOT of blowdown. That trail is very difficult to get thru due to all the blowdown.
