Succor Creek State Natural Area 4-27-23

Post by ChrisA » April 27th, 2023, 6:37 pm

We were at Succor Creek today and walked a couple miles near the south end, west side. We followed jeep/ATV trails. The scenery was amazing. Cliffs, an arch/hole in the wall, wildflowers, and green everywhere. Temps were in the 60's, but felt warmer since we were out in the sun with a light breeze.

If it wasn't so far away from here I'd probably be there frequently!

On the other hand, if it were closer, it might not be as cool anymore.
Believe it or not, I barely ever ride a mountain bike.

That is a great area with so much to explore.

Nearby Three Fingers Rock is a nice hike.
