Grass Widows

Post by JZwing » February 16th, 2023, 9:04 am

Yesterday, to fully enjoy a day of sun, we did a big loop out of the Catherine Creek TH. On the last leg of our loop, along the top of Catherine Wall, there they were. Just a handful but always nice to see the first ones. The rest are 2-4 inches out of the ground so the big show is a little ways off.

Yeah, the flowers are pretty late this year.

I was in the car on the way home from skiing yesterday and I said "I wonder if the grass widows are out at Catherine Creek yet." Thanks for the news!
Believe it or not, I barely ever ride a mountain bike.
