400/Oneonta/Franklin/Larch loop 1/16/23

HI,

Today I hiked clockwise from Multnomah Falls on the Gorge 400/Oneonta/Franklin Ridge/Larch Mountain loop. Conditions were amazing for January, with lengthy (and not very deep) patches of snow only on the upper part of Oneonta. Blowdown from fire damage wasn't too bad except for the last bit of Oneonta and on the upper section of Franklin Ridge.

I wouldn't do Franklin on a windy day. All of the tall trees on the upper section looked dead to me and most of the tops have broken off.
