Great hike up Gnarl Ridge - Lamberson Butte - Newton Creek. The flowers were done and there were almost no huckleberries, but the trails are in great shape, although dusty, and the views were outstanding.
We saw very few hikers, except backpackers on the Timberline. My feet did get wet on the upper crossing of Newton Creek. Cairns mark a crossing along a group of small logs, but they were overflowing with water.
