Dalles Mt Ranch Hike – 2022-03-16

Temp was 39 degrees with a cold wind when we started. We could see clouds at the top, so knew we might not have a good view.
There was a nice view of Mt Hood when we started, but it became obscured by clouds.
Grass widows, yellow bells and other small flowers were in bloom.
Meadow Larks were very abundant and their song left a cheery note.
It remained cloudy at the top when we arrived. We sheltered from the wind behind one of the building.
On the way down we found what looked like coyote bones.
Was sunny and 50 back at the trailhead.
