Hiked the TKO-built trails of Punchbowl Falls Park on Saturday afternoon -- great time for fall colors over there, and also great to see people using the trails on a somewhat rainy fall afternoon!
The fancy gateway sign -- that neglects to mention Thrive! Hood River (the non-profit that did the legwork to make this park possible) and TKO (who built the trails)...
The Dogwood Trail is especially nice in October - trail was completed four years ago, and is looking great!

There should still be some nice color over there this weekend if you're in the Hood River area!

I do love the fall colors and the whitewater pictures. Wish the leaves could hang on a few more weeks.

I have not been there since the trail was completed. I look forward to checking it out. Wow on your photography!

Lovely. Any tricks to keep the foliage sharp during a long exposure, or was it just that still?Splintercat wrote: ↑October 29th, 2021, 5:52 pm...and an even closer look at Dead Point Falls, this time from the Punchbowl Falls overlook:

It was just super still with heavy overcast (and occasional rain) -- perfect conditions that day!

Fantastic photos, Tom! I'll have to add this to my list of fall hikes for next year.
