Riley Meadows

Four miles up the Riley Trail on Mt Adams, maybe my last hike in that area of the season. No other cars at the TH and no other hikers seen (no other human tracks in the snow).
- Brand new signage - seems like saying the PCT is both straight and left might confuse some people, though it is true
- lake at 5100'
- one of the ponds during the dogleg north, with overnight ice that will melt with the sun
- Getting snowier (~ 5300')
- Lunch at Riley Meadow with a view of the Pinnacle on Adams
- Riley Creek is still just a trickle, though it picked up in the hour I was there and will more during the afternoon
