Can you drive the road to the TH without having the Weyerhaeuser permit?

I didn't see any signs on the main road that made me believe I needed one. There were some signs on side roads toward the west. Further east it's Washington State (DNR?) land so I recommend hanging a Discover Pass if you have one.

Drove to Sheep Canyon TH today in a Honda Pilot. There was a sedan at the trailhead. Anyone with Don Nelson's driving skills could make it there.... :D
