Criterion Tract Loop

Post by Sugar Pine » May 9th, 2021, 4:57 pm

Hiked the Criterion Crest Tract, out on the route nearest the Deschutes and looped back along the Criterion Crest Road. Due to clouds, we did not have good views of the mountains, but the views of the river were spectacular. Abundant flowers in bloom, all not yet peaking.

You are giving me MAJOR East Side jealousy. I've never been there during wildflower season. Beautiful photos!
Believe it or not, I barely ever ride a mountain bike.

Our first time there. A friend found the description on Oregon Hikers. We will definitely be back.
