Oregon Hikers

The road to the trailhead from the east via Tygh Valley is open and dry, though fairly bumpy for a short section. I got about 4.5 miles up the trail, walking through snow off and on. After about two miles, the trail is snow covered when near the creek, but mostly clear when up on the hillside. Lots of trees down, but mostly easy stepovers. I brought a small folding saw and made good use of it, and also threw many branches off the trail.
