2-17-21 Snowshoe at Timberline Lodge

Post by OneSpeed » February 19th, 2021, 8:45 am

I took the Mount Hood Express bus to Timberline Wednesday -- see that post here -- for fresh snow, clear skies, and not having to drive on snow.

Conditions were perfect, if a little breezy for my taste higher up. Didn't, therefore, make it to Silcox, just wandered a big wide loop about 500 feet above the lodge, eventually over towards the Mountaineer Trail and back via the PCT, kind of.

Beautiful day.
