Oregon Hikers

The road is currently snow free to Coldwater Lake, and the gate is not even closed so people appeared to be going up to JRO to do... whatever. Doesn't seem like that will last much longer though. Parked at Hummocks and looped Coldwater Lake > Coldwater #230 > S Coldwater Ridge. No snow down by the lake and very pleasantly warm; snow on the Coldwater Tr up from the lake, with some minor blowdown; up on S Coldwater Ridge there were a few feet of snow with a well beaten track that was being filled by spindrift - it will be snowshoe season up there soon.



I think about 85% of my photos are of Mt. Minnie.
