Tamanawas Falls 11/8/2020

We did the Tamanawas Falls hike on a Sunday. It was quite crowded; trailhead parking was full and we passed a party every couple of minutes. About half wore masks.
The trail was dry until the last 0.35 miles when it got icy. A little bit of snowfall had been compressed to ice by countless boots. We needed Microspikes but hadn't brought them, so we slipped and slid along with everybody else. The sections along shale slopes were particularly dicey.
Nevertheless, a good time was had following the creek through the forest.
