There is a stable, constructed set of two by fours that make the crossing very easy. You will enjoy the hike and the huckleberries should be ready for consumption!sheilakpdx wrote: ↑August 29th, 2020, 4:05 pmHow was the Cold Spring crossing? Low water/rock hop or did it take some navigation (aka bring water shoes?) Great report, this has been on my list for a while and your pictures confirm the time is approaching to go out and enjoy this trail!

How long is this loop? Can you provide any more specific information on the route, etc. please?
Thanks,

It is 12.1 miles, but not much steep climbing so it was not that difficult. We did the whole loop in about 5 1/2 hours. Here is the hike write up and driving directions.

By the way, I like doing the loop part CCW to see the great views earlier in the loop. Someone that did it Tuesday said it was very windy, so lots of dust was blowing. So might be best to check the wind forecast as well.
