Paradise Park-Hidden Lake Loop Hike

Backpacked the Paradise Park - Hidden Lake loop, camping at Paradise Park at the end of July. Ideal conditions, amazing flowers and sunset views. The field guide description mentions downed trees from 2018, but nearly all were cleared from the trail. We had to go over two and under one in that area. We were asked about conditions on the hike down (we went up Hidden Lake, down Paradise, although I think the field guide route of up Paradise preferable).

How were mosquitoes around Hidden Lake?

Thinking of going up there Thursday evening, camping at Hidden Lake, then doing a longer loop/out and back via the Zigzag Mountain Trail towards Burnt Lake or Cast Lake.


ETA: Oh, just realized you said you did it end of July - oops! Oh well, guess I'll see for myself .
