Trail is in great shape from Park Meadow trailhead to Golden Lake. No significant snow to deal with but enough for my son to boot ski and “butt ski.” Most places to camp are melted out at Golden Lake. We camped about 600’ NW from the lake to try to escape the mosquitos but they still found us. The route up to the tarns south of the lake still looks snowy and most of the snow was mushy from the hot sun, so we just relaxed by the lake. We had the place to ourselves.
There’s a log over Snow Creek, but Park and Whychus Creeks both require a ford, about shin deep, so nothing major. My 4 year old son did them by himself!
