Square Lake 5/27-5/28 2020

First backpacking trip of the season with my 4-year-old son. We started at Santiam Pass PCT trailhead. About 10 downed trees, but nothing too troublesome to get around, since he climbed over most of them. Camped above the north shore of the lake with great views of Mt. Washington and Three Fingered Jack.

Glad to hear kids getting out! We take our 21 mo old since she was 10 months old!

Good for you! About 2.5 miles each way, with not much gain
