No Snowshoes Needed on Trillium Loop

Post by Martrese » February 23rd, 2020, 5:37 pm

Mister and I did our first Trillium Lake Loop on Saturday 2/22/2020, and the main loop trail was so well groomed and packed we didn’t need snowshoes. X/C skiers were having lots of fun. The parking lot had plenty of spaces when we arrived at 9:00 a.m. but the lot was pretty full when we left at noon.

We walked down the mile-long trail from the parking lot and went straight at the loop junction to see the boat launch first (picture-perfect photos of Hood). We continued clockwise around the loop trail.

It’s a very easy and picturesque walk.
