GPM - 12/15/19

Really nice conditions on Green Point Mtn today. Bit of an inversion lower down still, cold and frosty, then everything was flocked higher up. Only a few inches of new snow up on the plateau. Summit was well frozen in and very lovely. Took Herman Cutoff down and snowshoes came off quick. No more snow by the Cutoff/HC Tr jct. A perfect early winter's day.





A bit socked in when we got to the summit.

Damn, I picked the wrong day for my weekend hike. Rained on me all day Saturday.

I want to get up there in the snowless season someday, just for the fun of seeing what it looks like bare. Maybe start at Wahtum Lake.
