Herman Ck / PCT loop

Well, I thought I had a general idea of where I was but I clearly got turned around. My map didn't include the drainage of the west Herman Creek proper so that was a mistake. So, when I started heading north and saw the terrain moving downwards as I was heading generally north I assumed it was towards Mud Lake. When I knew I had lost initially I headed northwest wards back hoping I'd find it and I'm assuming I passed over it not catching the faint boot path and ended up too close to the wrong drainage. Best I can figure anyways.
