Hello everyone... There's a good amt of eagles over at the Dalles Dam from Mid Dec - Late Feb... here are some from a few weeks ago. A worthy stop if you're out on that side of the gorge!
In case any of you have wondered why I've been incognito, I'm generally chasing wildlife these days (slideshow below), but! I'm gonna make an effort to post more in '19...

Great slide show. The eagle pics were good too, but the best of was great to view.

Clap * Clap * Clap * Clap I had fun. Really liked these pictures.

Chris, as always, consistently superb. It reminds me when I'm out trekking in the wild places, it's just pretty landscape without the native flora and fauna. I've spoken to you at the Tualatin refuge several times, so I know how many hours you invest in the field for the final product. I've no guess, but I know what I'm viewing represents much time in the field, and then home. Your discipline and dedication to your craft are obvious. I'm no photography judge, but it looks as good or better than what I'd expect from a slick cover outdoor magazine. Thanks for taking the time to post it here, and I look forward to future posts.
