Trail is well marked but make sure you know which trail you want, there are a lot of trail junctions and cutoff trails. This route was fairly simple to remember, I stayed on the Trapper Creek trail (tr 192) all the way up to Observation Pt juncture, then took the spur trail (summit trail) to the view point and back, then continued clockwise down the Observation trail.
This trail has a lot of elevation gain for several miles, don't underestimate it!
Below is a link for the gps track and map.

View of Helens, Rainier and Adams.
Mt Hood and Jefferson was only visible to the eye not the camera.
Fall colors on the Observation trail.
Happy Trails!

If you click on the link in the trip report it will take you to a gps track on a map. From there if you click on the green and black play button (at the trailhead) it will show you all the details that my gps recorded.
