There is so much area to explore in the Wind River Range, you just need some lungs!

Just to the north is a popular loop through a basin, with Skull Lake and a couple of others. From there, there is an official trail that goes over Haley Pass at 11,160 feet, then drops to about 9,800 then climbs Washakie Pass, at 11,611 feet, all in about 8 1/2 miles.

It looks like old age won over altitude! The great news is that the oldest person to have summited Mt Everest was 80 years old, so you still have plenty of time to have lots of fun outdoors! Great TR!
Some people are really fit at eighty; thankfully I still have many years to get into shape…

Yes, he may have been 80, but how many Sherpas did it take to carry all of his oxygen bottles? :lol:
