Hi all, just in case anyone was curious. Mt Tomroy is still holding down the fort up there next to Mt. Margaret.

It's a long drive from Portland to the Norway Pass trailhead, but it is simply amazing.McChaix wrote:Wow, not on my radar till now. Looks nice.

I can only say that it is always beautiful up there. Thank you for sharing.

About how much snow did you encounter? I'm supposed to do a 2-nighter up there this weekend, to include the Whittier Ridge loop, but may reconsider given how snowy some of your pics looked.

There was basically NO snow on Whittier Ridge by last Wednesday (9/27); it melted fast. And it probably won't snow this week. So I wouldn't worry.lisina wrote:About how much snow did you encounter? Yes it was melting away as we were up there. There was a chance of snow levels coming down over the weekend. But the temp didn't seem like it dropped much the last few days.lisina wrote:About how much snow did you encounter?
