'Other' Eagle Creek: troubling access issues

As of 2020 the access via Harvey Rd. is fine. One thing that is different from the trailhead driving directions is that the road now ends in a berm. There's a 4x4 post at the trailhead, so it's clear where it starts.

Thanks. Which road ends in a berm - Harvey Road or the one that leads down to the actual trail? That one was open for logging at one point and maybe they've now closed it at the trailhead?

FYI I was just looking into this hike, and the FS site says the Harvey Rd trailhead is temporarily closed

Beginning around 06/05/20, trailhead will be inaccessible due to road and trail reconstruction west of the trailhead. This closure will last about a month.

Since I've avoided it to date due to notes about the road being in rough shape and benefiting from decent clearance, I'm hoping that's good news for me. Looking forward to hearing updates from anyone who checks it out once it's open again.
